Financial Disclosures & Disclaimer
Effective and last updated September 13, 2026
Revlo helps you organize financial information. It is a tracking and reporting tool, not a bank, brokerage, money-transfer service, or source of personalized professional advice. Read these limits alongside the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose and advice
Revlo does not provide personalized investment, financial-planning, tax, accounting or legal advice, or act as your fiduciary. No adviser-client relationship is created by using the website. Consider an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions involving investments, debt, tax or legal obligations. A tool’s label, category or summary is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold an asset.
Revlo does not take custody of your money, execute trades, pay tracked bills or transfer funds between your accounts. Balances displayed in Revlo are records, not deposits with Revlo. Revlo provides no FDIC or SIPC protection. Any protection at an underlying institution depends on that institution, the product and applicable limits; displaying an asset here does not add or remove that protection.
2. Calculations and reports
- USD presentation: the current workspace presents values in US dollars. It is not a foreign-exchange conversion tool; the transaction importer includes supported posted USD transactions.
- Reporting periods: Weekly covers the selected date and the preceding six days. Monthly runs from the first of that month through the selected date; Yearly runs from January 1 through that date. These are not necessarily completed calendar-period statements.
- Cash flow: income and spending follow the sign and category of recorded transactions. Transfers are excluded when categorized as Transfer. Refunds, credit-card payments, missing transactions or incorrect categories can distort results. Review the underlying entries.
- Categories and budgets: automatic categories use rules based on descriptions and amounts and can be wrong. You can adjust permitted transaction categories. Budgets compare entered limits with recorded spending; they do not prevent spending or move money.
- Records and exports: charts, savings rates and CSV reports reflect only available selected records. They are not audited statements, tax forms, credit reports or a guarantee of cash available to spend.
3. Investments and net worth
Investment holdings use quantities, cost information and prices you enter. They are not live quotes, executable prices, personalized recommendations or a complete performance calculation. Displayed unrealized gains can omit fees, dividends, interest, taxes, realized transactions and currency effects. Stocks, funds, bonds, crypto and other assets carry different risks, including loss of value; a displayed gain is not a forecast.
Net worth totals recorded account balances, asset values and holdings, less recorded debts. Goal progress is not added again. Manual account balances are snapshots and do not automatically update when you enter transactions. Connected investment accounts may supply an overall balance without individual positions. Do not count the same portfolio both as an account balance and as separate holdings unless you have adjusted for the duplication. Property and other asset values are your estimates, not appraisals.
4. Bank connections
Stripe Financial Connections is optional and limited to eligible institutions and permissions. Support for a bank does not guarantee every account, asset class, transaction or historical period is available. Revlo requests balance and transaction data; connection alone does not authorize a transfer or investment order.
Provider data can arrive late, require reauthentication or be unavailable. Sync retrieves currently available information; it does not guarantee real-time updates. Investment-account positions and activity may not be imported. Verify payment status, balances and charges with the originating institution.
Disconnecting stops further access through a successfully disconnected connection, but does not erase previously imported transactions, close the underlying bank account, or cancel Revlo Plus. Retained data and deletion options are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Recurring payments and goals
The Recurring section is a manually maintained schedule. It does not automatically detect every subscription, send guaranteed due-date alerts, cancel a merchant service or pay a bill. Dates and amounts need review and updates. Monthly and annual equivalents are estimates derived from the frequency you enter; actual billing can differ.
Goals track the amounts and targets you enter. They do not open savings accounts, reserve funds, automate contributions, or guarantee a target will be reached. Keep the underlying account and goal values consistent.
6. Revlo subscription charges
Revlo Plus billing is separate from the subscriptions you track in Recurring. Stripe processes the monthly or annual Revlo purchase you authorize. Review the amount and renewal interval in Checkout and manage cancellation through the billing portal. Removing a financial connection or a tracked recurring item does not cancel Plus. See billing terms.
7. Demo and automated summaries
Public demo balances, transactions, charts and goals are illustrative examples, not your account data, verified customer results or promised outcomes. Demo edits are temporary. The current app’s categories and summaries are generated by rules and arithmetic, not a generative-AI adviser. Revlo does not currently offer OpenAI-powered financial insights.
External links and provider services are subject to their own availability and terms. A link or supported connection is not an endorsement of an investment or a guarantee of a provider’s accuracy or security.
8. Your rights
Use these tools with appropriate care and verify important information independently. The limits in these disclosures apply only to the extent allowed by law. They do not waive statutory rights, excuse misleading statements, eliminate Revlo’s legal responsibilities, or override the consumer-rights exceptions in the Terms of Service.
